Engagement Session in Paris-
Alex and Wells are the cutest couple from Chattanooga. I really enjoyed capturing their easy-going and fun-loving personalities.
Alex sent me inspiration ideas and I knew instantly that Montmartre would be a wonderful start to their photo session. It’s got an old world charm that enhances the experience of a Parisian romantic engagement session. We also discussed the style and feel and I suggested pastels as they go so well with the perfectly Parisian background. Montmartre and the Eiffel Tower were the best locations for this sweet and endearing destination photography session. As a photographer I love giving advice about the best places to shoot and how to capture the feel of that ideal Paris charm.
“My (now) fiancé, Wells, and I woke up one morning, went to work, randomly found amazing deals on plane tickets, and had booked flights to Paris by lunchtime. I knew we would be getting engaged soon, and could only assume that he would do it at some point on our trip to Paris, Belgium and Amsterdam. He definitely caught me by surprise by proposing a few weeks later in our hometown of Chattanooga, TN. Wells had told me he had thought of proposing on our trip, but decided he would do it before so our families could be there. He was telling me he had thought of getting a photographer if he did, and the idea of doing our engagement photos in Paris came to us, I mean could there be a better place?!
We did our engagement photos the morning of our fifth and final day in Paris. I really couldn’t think of a more perfect way to end and capture our time in such an amazing and beautiful city. We had so much fun with them, and I love that we have those photos not only as our engagement photos, but as a special memory of such a wonderful trip together.
I cannot express how wonderful Yolanda was to work with, from start to finish! I was definitely a little nervous at first, but that did not last long. I was even able to laugh when a taxi drove by and splashed my dress with mud (probably mostly because I had another outfit to change into), ha! Great memories!”
